Our cancer treatment options

Our oncology specialists are able to offer specialized treatment options that can be tailored to fit your specific circumstances. Your care team will include both doctors and other clinicians, as well as dietitians, nurse navigators and supportive care counselors. These skilled professionals will work with you to decide which treatment methods will be most effective for you.

Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is a procedure in which something very cold, such as liquid nitrogen or argon gas, destroys malignant tissue. It is typically used in cases where the tumor or cancerous cells can be directly targeted and removed, or in cases where a precancerous growth needs to be treated.

Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy is a form of biological cancer treatment that trains your own immune system to destroy cancer cells. There are a range of immunotherapy types that are available. You and your care team work together to find what form of immunotherapy works best for you.

Infusion therapy

We sometimes think infusion is only used to administer chemotherapy, but it's a treatment method for so much more. While our services include chemotherapy, the administration of cancer treatment drugs through an IV, this treatment method can be part of immunotherapy, antiviral or antibiotic drug administration, pain relief or reducing nausea.

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)

RFA is a minimally invasive procedure that uses electricity-generated heat to target and eliminate cells that make up unwanted or possibly dangerous growths in the body.

Radiation therapy

Radiation therapy, also known as radiotherapy, uses precise doses of radiation to kill cancer cells in specific areas of the body. There are external and internal radiation therapy types and your care will help your decide the type that best fits your health needs.

Surgical oncology

In some cases, surgical interventions may be the best option for removing damaged or cancerous tissue from the body. Wherever possible, we use minimally invasive surgical methods, including robotic surgery, to remove tumors and treat cancer.
