Emergency care

Emergency care is the treatment of unexpected, severe medical injuries or infections. It is typically delivered in an emergency room or an ambulance. Our emergency medicine physicians stabilize your condition as quickly as possible to prepare you for the next step of care or discharge.

Obstetric (OB) ER

The OB ER is a separate triage and care space with a dedicated team available for women who are pregnant and in need of emergency care.

Here, our specialized staff includes OB hospitalists. These board-certified obstetric physicians are on-site 24/7. They focus solely on caring for patients in the hospital, rather than caring for patients in an outpatient setting.

Pregnant women who need emergency care can access the OB ER through our existing emergency department. OB medical emergencies are assessed and taken to the OB triage area to receive care from the on-site OB hospitalists.

Stroke center

Minutes matter when it comes to stroke treatment. As a Certified Primary Stroke Center, our emergency physicians, specialists and nurses are exceptional at swiftly identifying signs of a stroke. This enables them to administer lifesaving medications even faster.

FastTrack ER for minor emergencies

Sometimes you need immediate medical care for minor illnesses or injuries. In these cases, our FastTrack ER can help. It is similar to urgent care but provides all the resources of an ER. If your emergency becomes more serious, we can also quickly get you the care you need or admit you to the hospital.

Our FastTrack ER is for anyone who is two years old or older with medical conditions that are not emergencies but require treatment within 24 hours.

Use the ER entrance to check in for our FastTrack ER, which is open from 10:00am to 10:00pm every day.
