Weight loss surgery services we offer

We are proud to offer advanced surgical weight loss options, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

Types of bariatric surgery we offer

All of our weight loss surgeries are offered as robot-assisted procedures to improve your surgical outcome. Robotic surgery is minimally invasive surgery that only requires our surgeons use a few small incisions. The benefits of this approach include:

  • Less pain
  • Minimal scarring
  • Shorter hospital stay
  • Shorter recovery time

Our bariatric surgeons offer:

Roux-en-Y gastric bypass

During a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, your surgeon staples your stomach to create a smaller stomach pouch. The small intestine is then connected to the new pouch. Food will move directly from the new pouch to the new small intestine during digestion. This allows you to absorb fewer calories and feel full with less food.

Sleeve gastrectomy (gastric sleeve)

The gastric sleeve surgery involves removing part of the stomach to create a smaller, banana-sized stomach. The smaller stomach pouch helps you feel fuller with less food.

Revisional bariatric surgery

Revisional bariatric surgery is performed in the event you regain weight after bariatric surgery or experience other issues. Even if your original bariatric surgery was performed elsewhere, our team will do everything we can to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

Is weight loss surgery right for me?

It is important to speak with your doctor about all of your weight loss options, including surgical weight loss.

Who qualifies for weight loss surgery?

Body mass index (BMI) measures your overall body fat based on your height and weight. You may qualify for bariatric surgery if your BMI is:

  • 40 or higher
  • 35 or higher and you have a diagnosed weight-related condition
Long-term commitment to wellness

Another qualification for weight loss surgery is your commitment to making permanent lifestyle changes after your surgery. This commitment will ensure your weight loss procedure is effective at keeping you healthy. Our team can help you better understand the expectations. They will counsel and educate you before you decide to undergo surgery.
