Our breast health services

We are proud to be able to offer you a wide range of breast health services, imaging and programs to help identify and diagnose breast cancer and diseases.

Breast cancer screening

The two most common breast cancer risk factors are age and sex. Given that, scheduling annual screenings becomes an important part of monitoring and maintaining your health as you grow older. We offer and encourage annual mammograms, which allow breast cancer to be detected early, when it is most treatable.

If your test results reveal a breast cancer diagnosis, our team will create a customized treatment plan based on your needs so that you can get on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

Breast nurse navigators

If you have concerns about your breast health, or have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, our breast nurse navigators are here to help. These compassionate, knowledgeable team members can help answer your questions and make sure you can access the care you need.

Contact a breast nurse navigator by calling our 24/7 Consult-A-Nurse line.

Breast imaging services we offer

We offer a wide variety of imaging services that can be easily catered to your situation. No matter your condition, no matter the test needed, we strive to ensure that you are informed of your results as quickly as possible, in the event that a treatment plan needs to be created. We also understand how worrying waiting can be, so to keep your stress to a minimum, we provide same-day results for many of our tests, particularly follow-up work.

Imaging services we offer include:

  • 2D and 3D mammograms (tomosynthesis)
  • Breast biopsy, including stereotactic, 3D-, ultrasound- and MRI-guided biopsies
  • Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Breast ultrasound

Breast MRI

Breast MRIs are often used to detect cancers that have spread to surrounding breast tissue (invasive breast cancer). They are also typically used in the event that you require additional breast screening tools, such as if you have dense breasts or a moderate risk of developing breast cancer. Breast MRIs can detect cancers not visible on a mammogram, but they do not replace annual mammograms.

Fast breast MRI

Fast breast MRI, or abbreviated MRI, is a shorter, 10-minute version of a traditional breast MRI that is effective in finding aggressive cancers that can grow quickly between annual mammograms. Fast breast MRIs are just as accurate as traditional breast MRIs, though do require an IV contrast injection. These exams are ideal if you have dense breast tissue and need additional breast cancer screening, but do not meet the criteria to qualify for a traditional breast MRI.

Our high-risk breast program

If you potentially have an increased risk of developing cancer, we want to help you identify that early. Our goal is to ensure you are as informed as possible about your condition, so we offer risk-reducing options and education as well as personalized supplemental screenings.

Some of the additional screening options we offer include:

  • Abbreviated and full breast MRI
  • Contrast mammogram (CEM)
  • Genetic consultation and testing
  • High-risk provider consultation
  • Whole breast ultrasound
