Women's mental health

Women's mental health care focuses specifically on the emotional and behavioral well-being of women. This can involve specialized treatment for disorders like depression, anxiety and feelings of isolation, as well as postpartum anxiety and depression.

Women's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Northern Virginia

Our Women's PHP offers comprehensive, structured mental health treatment for women who need intensive support but do not require 24-hour inpatient care.

Designed as a step down from inpatient hospitalization or a step up from outpatient services, PHP provides a therapeutic environment where individuals can stabilize, build coping skills, and begin the path to lasting wellness.

Our women’s mental health services

Our PHP typically runs 5 days a week for several hours each day, allowing participants to receive intensive care while returning home in the evenings. This balance fosters real-world application of treatment goals and promotes continuity of care.

Key features of the program

  • Evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care
  • Individual therapy, group sessions, and psychiatric medication management
  • Personalized treatment planning and progress monitoring
  • A safe, supportive, and compassionate setting to promote healing
