Award-winning mental health services
Our hospital is proud to support those struggling with a broad range of mental illnesses and conditions.
Safe compassionate care
Our treatment approach involves a focus on crisis intervention and stabilization in our inpatient and partial hospitalization program (PHP). Our safe, calming environment gives you the space to focus on getting well with the support and encouragement of our devoted care team.
We treat anxiety and bipolar disorders, depression, chemical dependency and substance abuse coupled with psychiatric illness, self-injury, suicidal behaviors, and many other emotional, behavioral and mental health issues. We also offer condition-specific services for substance abuse and eating disorders.
Always attuned to the needs of the Northern Virginia community, we blend the benefits of a safe and secure treatment environment and an easily accessible suburban location. Our interdisciplinary approach assembles social workers, mental health nurses, psychologists, expressive therapists and other mental health professionals. These superb professionals provide care that only the most skilled and best-trained mental health, medical and support staff can deliver.
Our treatment philosophy
Dominion Hospital believes in a patient-centered and holistic treatment program. Combined with the appropriate social support, our programs can truly help individuals and their families. You can read more about our treatment philosophy on our patient resource hub.

We always appreciate your support and concern for individuals and families affected by emotional, behavioral and mental health conditions. Because the safety, security and well-being of our patients, clinicians and community are paramount, we’re not able to accept donations or offer volunteer opportunities at Dominion Hospital.
