New Mental Health Assessment Center opens

Fairfax, Va. — Dominion Hospital, a member of HCA Healthcare, proudly announces the opening of its new Mental Health Assessment Center in Fairfax, Virginia. This dedicated facility is now available for voluntary, non-emergent patients aged five and older seeking professional mental health evaluations.

“Our goal is to ensure every patient receives the right care, right from the start,” said Gary Litovitz, MD, chief medical officer. “The assessment center provides free initial evaluations and personalized referrals to mental health professionals and treatment programs — whether inpatient, outpatient, or community-based.”

The new center is the first Dominion location focused exclusively on behavioral health assessments, complementing the hospital’s existing outpatient services at Dominion Choices Adolescent PHP/IOP in Falls Church and the Dominion Center for Behavioral Health Services in Chantilly.

Located at 10721 Main Street, Suite 1300, Fairfax, VA, the Mental Health Assessment Center is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. All major health insurance plans are accepted. Free assessments are available to walk-in patients, and same-day appointments can be booked online or by calling (703) 621-1900.
